Steven Hamilton – Wall to 360

Steven Hamilton Wallride 360

Edit- I’m having some trouble with it to continue looping so if you missed it, just right click and open in new window.

I’ll be making a full post after this with photos and what not from the trip so far, but I wanted to post this separate since it’s pretty gnarly. We hit Columbus, Ohio yesterday and ended up bumping into a bunch of other dudes riding along with Steven Hamilton. We cruised around for a while and then we hit the most well known curved wall ride in BMX in my opinion. Steven hopped on a bunch of different bikes and got it done on pretty much every bike he got on. So wild.

Blog: Status of BMX?

BMX Blog

Is it just me, or has BMX been getting quite a bit more exposure lately? Has it been growing? Where has all this money come from? I’ve been having a bunch of things running through my head the last few days (this post is two days in the works) about what feels like quite a bit of growth of BMX lately. Am I just imagining things or what?

Deluxe have been supporters of BMXunion for quite a while. I figure if they’ll support me, then I’ll be posting something like this up. Enjoy!

Bright and Early Clip

The other morning I had some time to get to the skatepark for a bright and early session with Wyatt Kreel and a few others. We decided to film a few things and I quickly realized I wanted to do something with this one clip. Wyatt is interesting because he’s a total meat head/beef cake/ jock with tattoo’s but doesn’t like to half ass his tricks. It’s super funny because he will yell at himself, and talk shit to himself until he gets a trick just perfect. I figured the clips I had accumulated really caught this perfectly and tossed them together. Enjoy.

Blog: Slack? Maybe not.

Photobucket

I always feel like I’ve neglected this site when it goes 2 or so days without any fresh content… I take full responsibility. But, I do have a valid reason! The Dig site gets about 20 posts a day filled with videos, news, and original content that I post up. I’ve decided to compile the original content that I’ve produced on that site lately just to show that I’m not really slacking, I’m just hustling a lot on Dig! So, here’s that list… Oh, and expect a bunch of content for BMXunion coming in hot soon. It’s just a waiting game to get stuff back!

Blog: DVD Comeback?

BMX DVD

Maybe I’m just caught up in all the talk about how good some of the new videos are that either have dropped or about to, but I’m starting to think this year might be solid for some DVDs. I’m talking more specifically about four videos that have been talked about quite a bit lately. Animal’s new video “Cuts”, Brian Chace’s new video “Refresh”, Bone Deth “Surfin for the Ugly Broads”, and V-Club’s “For the Sake of the Video”…

Green Laser Phenomenon

There has been some chaos in BMX as of lately with the whole green laser pointer phenomenon growing. Over the course of the last year I was exposed to the lasers from a distance. Keeping my curiosity to a controllable level without really any over the top temptation of needing to make a purchase of one of these 50mw eye burning, distance shooting, sign explosion devices. That was until Baco…

2009 Recap

2009 is just a few short days away from being complete, and the new year will begin. This year was pretty crazy for me personally. I have trouble remembering everything I did, but that’s why I always have a camera with me. It helps me put the pieces together (my memory is a little fuzzy after a couple concussions). I’ve stored all my photos into my hard drive and thought it would be pretty cool to go over the year with some of my favorite photos and videos. So follow me…

Blog: Print Vs. Web “War”

It’s a slow saturday in BMX Blogging. My google reader was left with few options, and nothing that struck me as important. There is snow on the ground, and it’s cold. The very small local indoor charges $13 to ride a park on weekends, and I’m cheap. I decided it has been a while since I’ve done a “blog” post. I’m sure if you found my site, you were on the internet enough this week to catch the huge flair up about “Is print dying?” debate…
