Green Laser Phenomenon

There has been some chaos in BMX as of lately with the whole green laser pointer phenomenon growing. Over the course of the last year I was exposed to the lasers from a distance. Keeping my curiosity to a controllable level without really any over the top temptation of needing to make a purchase of one of these 50mw eye burning, distance shooting, sign explosion devices. That was until Baco…

2009 Recap

2009 is just a few short days away from being complete, and the new year will begin. This year was pretty crazy for me personally. I have trouble remembering everything I did, but that’s why I always have a camera with me. It helps me put the pieces together (my memory is a little fuzzy after a couple concussions). I’ve stored all my photos into my hard drive and thought it would be pretty cool to go over the year with some of my favorite photos and videos. So follow me…

Blog: Print Vs. Web “War”

It’s a slow saturday in BMX Blogging. My google reader was left with few options, and nothing that struck me as important. There is snow on the ground, and it’s cold. The very small local indoor charges $13 to ride a park on weekends, and I’m cheap. I decided it has been a while since I’ve done a “blog” post. I’m sure if you found my site, you were on the internet enough this week to catch the huge flair up about “Is print dying?” debate…

X-Games Scraps

Sorry for the lack of posts the last few days… It has been a mix of too much sitting in a car, getting to the X-Games, riding a few schools, and lack of wi-fi for me to steal… Here are a few scrap photos and some words from the last few days for me…

Backflip Fail (Must see) and Ditch Photos

Today Myself, Alex, Francis from Odyssey, and the Viking from Odyssey went and rode a ditch. After that we hit up Clairemont park where I shot the above sequence. This kid literally started on the other side of the park, cranked full force, and was going to flip to flat. Obviously, it didn’t work out as planned. Check out after the jump to see a few more photos!

San Diego and Nike 6.0 So Far

I’ve been in Carlsbad (North of San Diego) for a few days now. Hanging out, and hitting up the Nike 6.0 Huntington Beach Contest… It has been a good time so far, with plenty of days left here in California. Here are some random photos, and scraps I haven’t used over on Dig

Trips and Trips and Trips

It has been a few days since I have made a post, which is almost weird. I have been pumping out interviews lately, and things look to be picking up even more. However, I’ve got a few trips in the works that will probably slow things down just a bit… Here is what is to come.

Dew Tour Photos 3

Here are the photos I didn’t use on Dig from the third day of the Dew Tour. This is the final day and quite the experience. I won’t lie, I am not a very good photographer. I had never shot an event like the Dew Tour before, and definitely not a vert contest before. I think as time goes on things might get better, but I don’t want people to get the impression that I think I am awesome. As time goes on, I hope I become awesome. So check out the photos, feel free to leave comments. I’ll take some critiques too but I may have valid reasons. At least for the vert haha.

Brian Kachinsky had a autograph signing for Action Village in the morning of the third day. I didn’t have anything to do so I came and hung out with him. Brian signed a poster for me with Vikings x’ed out. He’s from Wisconsin, and I am from Minnesota. So we got a bit of Vikings Packers rivalry. I shut him down when I asked him how he felt about Brett Favre playing for the Vikings this year. Brian is still the man though!

Chicago Dew Tour Photos 2

Here are some of the photos from the second day of the Dew Tour that I didn’t use over on Dig. These are some of the park prelim photos, and Dirt finals photos. There were quite a few “good” photos that I had to choose from to use for the Dig site, and even more I can use here. So check them out, leave some comments, and hopefully you are into a few of them.

One of my favorite photos from the day was this photo of Rob Darden doing this one hand table. He went down on the first one and it was rough, but his second was better.

Chicago Dew Tour Photos

I spent the last few days down in Chicago hanging out shooting photos and what not at the Chicago Dew Tour. I made a few daily updates on the Dig site incase you missed that. Day One | Day Two | Day Three. I just posted a few photos and some words and the places people got over there. I figured since I have a bunch of other photos left over that I might as well post. Some of them are a little blurry since its fairly hard keeping up with the guys hauling ass around the park. I’ll try and put a few captions in to explain some of the photos too. This will get broken down into 3 parts since it was 3 days and I had close to 150 photos that were fairly decent. So check them out and feel free to leave some comments.
