Dig iPhone Application

Dig has a new application for you to download the magazine straight to your iPhone, iTouch and iPad. I’ve been toying with it for the last two weeks or so, bug there were a few minor bugs getting worked out before we could say anything. It’s available to download now, and here’s the LINK for more info, and how to download it. I’ve got a few things in the new issue, so go download the app and get the new issue FREE!

Dig Issue 75

We dropped the issue 75 cover and contents today over on the Dig site. I have an interview with Brian Chace, and the products section. I might have something else in there, but it’s usually a surprise if I don’t already know it. Pick it up at places like Barnes and Noble or Subscribe for a few issues. Check out the full cover and contents after the jump…

Timecode 008: Erik Elstran

Here’s a little edit from some clips that I filmed with Erik Elstran on Sunday after the contest. The way it’s edited is to go along with the other Timecode’s on the Dig site. That last trick is ridiculous…

BMX Grub

I really need to upgrade to the iPhone. Come on, Verizon! If you are a user you may have noticed that all of BMXunion’s interviews are linked in on BMX Grub now. Dustin Griess is a Minnesotan like myself, so we are keeping things tight! If you have an iPhone or iTouch get that app right now. It’s free!

Also, D-Grice has a little interview over on Fat BMX talking about the app and some other things. Boom!

Dig BMX Magazine – Issue 74

The new photo issue of Dig is available, and looks to be pretty awesome. I mean look at that cover… Super funny. I also have a few words in the productivity section, since that’s sort of my section now. Make the jump for the contents and another teaser photo…

BMX Montage ‘09

More BMX >>

If you happened to read the Joel Pierazek interview from a week ago, you would recall me asking Joel where Joe Donaldson has been. Joe is a shredder from Florida that used to pump out really good edits all the time. I hadn’t seen any edits from him in a while and was curious where he went. Shortly after the interview was posted I got an email from Joe giving me an update on what he has been up to. He has been working and taking classes in Gainesville while riding a bunch. He had this new edit that he had been working on for a while and told me I could upload it for people to check out. So I guess this is a bit of a BMXunion exclusive edit. Thanks Joe! I’ve posted a few of his older edits after the jump…

Session Cover

This past weekend I was talking to Sam Schlappi at Baco and he was telling me about him being on the cover of Session BMX Magazine. I was stoked on it and had him shoot me an email with the cover. Sam also mentioned he’s a fan on BMXunion so I’d just like to say thanks for the support! It turns out we have been crossing paths for quite a while with emails and stuff over the years, so it was good to finally party! Check out the full cover after the jump…

BMXunion Facebook Page

I figure with every other brand and website creating a Fan page on Facebook that I might as well, also. It took like 5 seconds and it’s a slow Saturday. So if you are into BMXunion and are into helping out the cause… HIT THIS LINK and become a fan. If you aren’t a fan, it can be used for a place to talk shit on me. It will be fun, minus the fact that you won’t be anonymous.

E-Mail Update

Due to the incredible amount of spam email I’ve been receiving on my current account. (Were talking about 69 spam emails for every 1 real email. Multiply that by about 8-10 real emails a day…) I’ve been forced to make the change. I will be doing a mass email to everyone in my address book. I figure I don’t have everyones email that sends me videos and what not for posts on Dig’s daily news and everything.

You can now reach me at KurtHohberger at Gmail.com (Didn’t want to link it for the sake of spybots or whatever that can take links and add them to mailing lists…). So please, feel free to send me links to videos, news, flyers, questions, or just emails to shoot the shit (I do enjoy those!).

You can also reach me on twitter – @KurtHohberger which I check a few times a day…

Sorry for the inconvenience. I figure this should at least save me 10-15 minutes a day making sure I don’t accidently mark an important email as a phishing scam (Sorry Ryan!). Thanks everyone!

Levi’s Trip Wrap Up

Photo: Nathan Williams/iPhone

The Levi’s trip wrapped up Sunday night for me when we got back to Minneapolis. Overall, the trip was amazing. It was awesome to get away from the internet and just hang out. I’d like to thank Kathy (TM), Will Stroud, Steve Buddeneck, and the Levi’s team for bringing me along on the trip. You can see what we were up to on the Dig site, or by these links below…
