Matador hit me up the other day asking if I would be interested in doing a little giveaway for you guys and sent over the video above. I figured you all like beef jerky and Dennis Enarson is a rad dude so why not?
So here’s the deal. Over the next 10 days or so while I’m on the road I want you to leave in the comments the “boldest” or wildest story that happened to you this summer. When I get back I’ll pick out the winner and send out this huge box filled with some Matador jerky, an OGIO backpack, Pro-Tec helmet, some t-shirts, socks, more beef jerky, and some other goodies to you.
Easy enough? So get to it! Oh, and make sure you leave your real email address so I can contact you about where to send it to. Check out photos of the prize pack after the jump!

Giveaway: Matador Goodies and Enarson Video
Hell On Earth

The other day I came home to a box on the step from Sidewall. It slipped my mind that Matt Colisch and Jeremie Infelise were sending over a few new Hell On Earth tee’s. I was kind of wondering if Hell On Earth was done and over with, but it would appear they got things going on again. I’m real psyched on how much work went into the designs. Here’s a look at some of their new shirts…

Tony Mortenson Down

As wild and badass as somebody might be, they are not invincible. Minnesota legend and BACO beast, Tony Mortenson, took a real bad crash at Benny P’s trails the other night. He ended up fracturing his skull in three places and needing emergency surgery to put it all back together. From what I have heard, he’s recovering and definitely going to make it through this like the champ he is.
The only downfall is that he didn’t have any insurance. You can imagine how much something like this must cost and that’s why we’re in the works of getting a benefit jam together. I’m working on the flyer right now and all the details should be out in the next day or two. Just plan on making it to Overpass skatepark in Hopkins, Minnesota on July 31st.
Please keep Tony in your thoughts!
If you aren’t too squeemish you can check out a photo I had received after his surgery along with an old edit and the BACO 10 trailer…

Quicky with Kreel
A few weeks ago Wyatt Kreel moved back to Rochester, where I’m from, and he has been tossing some good stuff lately. The other night we decided to pull the camera out for a bit and get a few things filmed. He ended up pulling a bunch of good stuff, and I even snuck in front of the camera for a minute. Filmed with a Canon T1i and a Canon 18-135mm lens. Boom.
Free trip to Woodward?

Figured I’d post this up since the people over at Matador have been rad in the past. They’re teaming up with Woodward to give less fortunate kids a chance to make it to camp. Check out the full flyer after the jump.

Dig Issue #76

I’ve been real excited about this fresh issue of Dig for the last few weeks while we were getting everything put together. I’m real psyched because a few weeks back I had been talking with Ben Hucke about some stuff and he had mentioned he had been sitting on a few photos. Ben was working on an interview that kind of fell through and I wasn’t having any of that. I got the project fired up again and shot Ben some questions, and he had Jared Souney get some last pictures… like this cover shot! So incredible. It has been so hard keeping this one on down low without telling people. I’d like to thank Ben and Jared for working on this with me! So so so psyched!
Make sure you pick up this issue to see the couple page interview, and I’ve also got the products section. There’s a ton of other real good stuff in it as well, check out the contents and a sneak peek after the jump…

Dig iPhone Application

Dig has a new application for you to download the magazine straight to your iPhone, iTouch and iPad. I’ve been toying with it for the last two weeks or so, bug there were a few minor bugs getting worked out before we could say anything. It’s available to download now, and here’s the LINK for more info, and how to download it. I’ve got a few things in the new issue, so go download the app and get the new issue FREE!
Dig Issue 75

We dropped the issue 75 cover and contents today over on the Dig site. I have an interview with Brian Chace, and the products section. I might have something else in there, but it’s usually a surprise if I don’t already know it. Pick it up at places like Barnes and Noble or Subscribe for a few issues. Check out the full cover and contents after the jump…

Timecode 008: Erik Elstran
Here’s a little edit from some clips that I filmed with Erik Elstran on Sunday after the contest. The way it’s edited is to go along with the other Timecode’s on the Dig site. That last trick is ridiculous…
