Photos: Thomas Petrissans
The other day I got an email from Thomas with a few of his photos seeing if we could do something with it. I figured it would work out just fine for the next “Photos”. Got him a few questions and now we have it right here for you to check out. Take a look at some of the photos, some words, and then leave your thoughts in the comments!

Name: Thomas Petrissans
Age: 19
Location: Bakersfield, Ca
Years riding: About 5 1/2 years
Years shooting photos? About 4 years
What made you want to pick up a camera and start shooting? Did BMX come before photos or you brought them together?
Riding came first, but my freshman year of high school I took a photography class. After that I was hooked.

What kind of gear are you working with these days?
I shoot with a Canon Rebel EOS XTI
What’s your dream setup looking like?
I dont really have one. I would love to shoot with anything by Canon or Nikon!
Who are you usually shooting with these days? Any up and comers you think people need to look out for?
Mostly my friends and some of the locals at the skatepark. My brother Matt Petrissans and Dillon Mowdy!

Who are some photographers you are into?
Devon Hutchins, Joe Simon
Do you shoot much outside of BMX? You’re into MX right? Do you shoot that much?
Yeah, I take photos when I go on riding trips with my family. I like taking nature photos as well.
Where would you like to take photography?
I would like to make a career out of it someday.
Where can we check out more of your photos?
Right here: Photobucket

Do you have any shout outs or thanks?
I know it sounds corny, but GOD, all my family and friends, Chris Moeller, the Exquisite Cloathing crew and last but not least LITTLE ITALY for making me realize it was time to man-up and chase my dreams! I LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL! and Snider’s Cyclery…

If you think you got some decent skills behind a camera and you are looking to do something with your photos, shoot me an email- KurtHohberger @ Gmail.com – with some photos and a little background information about yourself and history of riding BMX.

Pretty nice article. I just stumbled upon your webpage and wanted to say that I have actually liked browsing your website posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing for your rss and I hope you write again shortly!
You should take this article down. I dont even shoot anymore and that little italy statement is complete bullshit. No sense in remembering things you regret. There are some good photos there though.
Thomas you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself, we all make mistakes hopefully we learn from them and move on to a better life. You should start taking pictures again they’re really good.
